GT500 RAN 10.2 AT 138MPH PBIR WENDSDAY 3/2/2011

How funny; there was a blue 98 supra with 900whp i ran against too on the 10.2 sec pass, and that thing stayed half the track behind but still managed a 12 sec pass at 135MPH lol. the guy did a good burn out, and his car still didnt hook. to bad my video camera die and I couldn't take the shot, but you can still see what happened on the time-slip. lag lag lag and tire spinning for the 2jz...\\

That 2jz needs an ad-turbo touch up asap.

lol this is true. the car isnt done yet. but I've got enough talking, motivation and all that good stuff to wanna finish it

well 03eatoncobra was there your friend with the white fox-body with the 03 cobra whipple setup. ask him what I ran last night he'll tell you in case you dont believe what my car ran. i can go again next week and run the same numbers for you for some cash if you dont mind parkiao. lol. atleast i can drive my car back and forth from the track home with the A/C on and my girl next to me, and still run 10's all day long and you CAN'T con tu bieja con colorete..

nice that was the 10.3 pass , i took off to hard, next time i will try taking off at 3,000 PRM'S, If i can ge the car to hook first gear, I am sure I can touch nines

damn!! that thing sounds like an airplane.

frank see my video and check out how my car leaves the line, this is a soft launch and is a mid 9 second pass. you get your car leaving good and you will see 9s. my car only got 636rwhp whipple on 20psi stock motor and weights 2850 without me in it.

it is not easy to get a 4,185LBS 6speed car with driver to run 9's with just 700+whp, but i know if i can get it to hook first gear it will.

I dont power shift , so i will try my best of my driving skills to get it into the high 9's without having to brake something, tire pressure is set at 12psi, with a 3,000 rpms launch, and a 1.4/ 60 foot it should do the job.

seriously i don't understand something. wtf is up with ppl. you do have money to put a freaking huge blower, pay for dyno sessions get more parts etc etc and then you have issues hooking and don't know what to do but wish you can get it to work.

simple answer for you.

15" holeshot wheels with freaking 325/50/15 drag radials or 28x10.5x15W slicks

get in here and tell who the fu$k do you see running those little ass tires you were running.

are this tires to small for you? maybe you weren't wearing your glasses that night you saw my car at PBIR. lol
the car simply needs to be launched at a lower RPM's thats all.

i bet i have made more passes than you at the track. i dont really noticed they are 28s but they were probably so low on air that they look like 26s when you launched you broke them loose to easy.

do you have adjustable lca and upper ? check the pinion angle. get on that forum and look for info about launching the car and what you need to check. everything there is about performance.

don't drop the air so much on the slicks start as high as you can and start dropping the pressure from there. also check 03cobras tires those are the 28x10.5W those are much wider than what you are running and the proper ones for the weight of your car

frank what suspension setup do you have? do you have an anti roll bar? have you put the battery in the trunk? all this little stuff really helps!!! also it looked like you needed to give the car more speed at the burnout, 2nd gear burnout!!
