Keep a close eye on that mph. Car weighs in OVER 3400lbs. and is on a stock style suspension.... all on a drag radial. No back-halved car here.

Why is the point on that video

What is the point on that video there are mustangs running low 6 's on radials

I'd like to be #34 if you care to run at countyline. I'm there pretty much every Saturday with my black hatch. Just PM me if intrested. And it's no race car. No cage, has A/C, P/S, and old street tires. Makes low 400rwhp. Street is out of the question for me so if you care to dare, lets make it #34 for giggles, no money of course.

I just wanted to share with the class. The stangs, for whatever reason, have been one step ahead when it comes to folks wanting to put one in the number one record spot. Popularity, WEIGHT (platform and simplicity), AFTERMARKET make it happen.

Big Daddy, Fiscus and Hance have all something in common though... Fox-body stangs. Those cars have been around long enough to get them worked out to go fast. They were popular when new and they're still popular now. Again, anytime you can find a RWD, V8 car that can easily weigh in under 3k lbs. you have a platform that can go places.

By far one of, if not the best race chassis ever made. Plus, back then for $12,000 you could buy a brand new 1986 mustang, spend $600 and be spanking vettes all over s. fla. I wont even metion the camaros/ Iroc z lol. There still playing catch-up.And with the new 2011 stang cayote engine, its already getting ugly out there. JPC performance already recorded the first naturally aspirated 2011 stang making 500rwhp. Gotta love that 5.0

MPH dont win races. The car is flying no doubt but thats one out of 1000's..... Just like david wofle and fiscus 4.30's 180mph in the 1/8 on radials. there's only 4 guys that come close and then there's everybody else

cars go as fast as how deep your pockets are.....

me, my car wont be ready because we were not able to tune it. if we can monday then i'll go if not next week. but the 2 shelbys are confirmed to go so i'll be there with them anyways

I am also going to be there too, but I wont be doing no 40 rolls because i will be on street tires. I will only do 50 roll and up. I ordered some 325/50/15's they are on back order till next week' so anyone wanting to challenge me with low roll has to wait till next week Monday so we can get it done.

seems like my car would have to wait until next week either its confirm that it wont get tuned tomorrow either.
