If I'm not mistaken I think that vette was tuned for nitrous and that was a motor to motor run (no nitrous) with the cobra, maybe that could be one possible factor.
Cobra did make a good come back especially due to the fact that I was in there.

yup, vette was on a bottle tune and running on motor. On the motor tune I think he makes about 430hp but it was less due to the fact he wanted to spray some body but that night we got there late and there were no big dogs for him to spray. So he was just having fun!!
