Countyline closed again tonight

What the fuck is going on with these people? Last week they called the track at 4pm. didnt rain again all night. Now they closed this weekend cause of storm damage. WTF. like a hurricane came through here and we didnt know anything about it. They have a picture of a banged up cheap ass tent all torn up. its not like theres a lot of shit to damage at a track, plus you have all week to fix it.
Sorry. I had to vent cause this is bullshit, and I totally understand why people risk it on the streets.

Yea CL is a shit track it's no wonder a small summer storm tore something up lol. The night I went out there they had a few break downs so we sat for awhile. Guy announced we could run until 1230 and all of a sudden at 1145 they closed the staging lanes and sent everyone home.

I've got into huge shouting matches with the owner over that closing early sh!t. When I go to the track, I want to get as many passes in as possible. CL is a freaking joke, Staging lanes clog up with like 120 cars and it's only an 1/8 Mile. The people running that place wear their discontent all over their faces. They are nothing more than folks from the local trailer park looking for a little beer money. They get mad when you try to race someone that's not lined up next to you. We have to get those damn people out of there and let some real racers run that joint. I'll put my money where my mouth is, whenever they want to see how it's done. We used to run an illegal dragstrip on the streets of Miami and charged people to participate. I'm sure we can handle a legal spot where we wont have to pay 5 Lookouts. Every time I start looking into opening up a dragstrip someone tells me there's 5 different groups working on that, yet, 10 years later, still nothing.

Ive been hearing that since the 80's. theres always a track opening that never opens
and they allow the ones who dont give a shit to run them. Only track I've been to that the owner really cared about the racers and busted their ass to make races happen was immokalee.

Immokalee was a good track

Track is owned by Miami Dade county. I dont think they will have permit issues. track has been operational for years. Still. If it was based on how they are running that track, then they should loose licesnse and permits. Also, should be banned from ever running a track again.

Idk I just read a post from srms they said they had to cancel bcuz the track was closed down for those reasons

Immokalee is still open I go there at least twice a month. He'll I live 20 min from it lol. Nice people.

Gonna start making the trip up there again. I used to go all the time back in 05-06. Great track.

idk why people hate on the 1/8. thats truly the most difficult part of the track to get through fast.

It is but for most of the cars that are out there its point less besides for a race car

I'm more of an 1/8 fan on my bike but that is because its all I ran where I used to live. When I run down PBIR after the 1/8 its a little boring

I rather just make the trip to PBIR. From my office not so bad of drive and least its a 1/4.

I have heard nothing good about CL since it has opened.

I used to live at countyline, until this closing early stuff started. Had some good times: A Shooting, a helicopter landing there to take the person to the hospital, convinced a Porn Star Customer of mine to take her car to the track "Jasmine Tame", waited 4 Hours to make a pass the first day they opened. The track was full of rocks, I could hear them damaging the car as I passed the finish line..... Let me find the video of the Helicopter taking off.
