| Well it shouldn't need a full rebuild. Can't I just do tha oil seal?. It just started spitting oil outta tha intake side. Its spooling fine. | |

| Its like doing brakes... Would you change pads on just the left side and leave the right side worn out? Honestly, the bearings all see equal time so assuming one is good or better than another isn't a fair statement just because its not leaking "yet". The "seal" on a journal bearing turbocharger is the bearing itself. So to answer your question directly, no if its leaking it needs to be rebuilt. | |
