| Welcome! I'm a truck guy, too I daily drive a Chevy TrailBlazer SS; it runs high 13's with just an air filter and a tune. I also have a GMC Syclone that's currently getting a 408" LS2 stroker with a pair of 76mm Turbonetics hair dryers swapped in place of its previous T66 turbo'd, Brodix headed, 266" V-6. | |

The motor is just some hand-me-down junk that I freshened up for this project. But, it should be okay to get me up and running. My driveline parts are massive overkill. Tranny is a 4L80e, with literally every possible upgrade, built to the same specs he uses on 5000# trucks making 1500 hp / 1500 Ft Lb. I probably won't push this motor much over 1000, so @ 3500#, the tranny will be well under its usual capacity. Stock SyTy transfer cases have run in the 8's. Mine is a stronger, later model, Borg Warner with aftermarket billet input and planetary set. It should also be more than adequate.

I'm also in Coconut Creek, so you'll probably see it soon. And, HAPPY BIRTHDAY (mine was yesterday, but I've got a few years on you).

| hey, i've seen your truck out in one of the kendall meets. I used to go out to those meets in a harley f250 and sometimes my yellow z06. Clean truck. Im looking to trade my truck in on a diesel one right now. I have a lifted 03 1500HD in white. Looks similar to yours except i have the h2 wheels on 35's. | |

| yea! thats me. Thats my best friends truck, but it isnt really that quick. My 1500HD beats it. He has intake, full 4 inch exhaust, and 120hp tune. My 1500hd with longtubes, intake, exhaust, tune and on my big heavy wheel/tire beats him by a truck and a 1/2. Hows the truck do for mpg? Thats the main reason i want to trade mine. Im getting 12 mpg combined and its killing me. I love the truck and it tows decent, but I would like something to tow my boat a little better too. | |
