im planning to swap to a t56 from a viper into my charger in the near future.
i needed to know how much does the stock viper tranny(upgraded clutch of course) hold before it gives out.
the auto on the srt8's is pretty sick and can handle anything i throw at it but i just wanted to try something different since no one is running one succefully on an lx platform

as for the 300c wanting to run it from a dig. i dont know how good your traction must be but im betting it must not be very good since your running a twin screw blower.
only way i would run from a dig with a twin screw or roots style blower is at the track. those things make so much torque really low in the rpm band that its almost impossible to launch in the street.

There are quite a few stock clutch/tranny Viper-spec T56's that have held near/over 4 digits. (Knock on wood).. haven't missed a beat on mine. Granted, I primarily do roll racing.

i was gonna get an adapter made to try to fit a supra 6 speed in there but the t56 is so much easier to swap cause the challenger comes with a 6 speed t56.
so i got myself a used viper tranny and challenger bell housing and i got B&G tuning to make the pcm happy with the t56. i just gotta work out the small details before i decide to do it.
